There’s a new poker room in Nevada, and it’s big enough for millions of users at a time.

The World Series of Poker and Caesars Interactive Entertainment began running the online room in September. It’s the WSOP’s first foray into real-money online poker, and only the second fully licensed poker site of its kind in Nevada.

Available at WSOP.com, the platform offers a variety of cash games, as well as Sit & Go, satellite and multi-table tournaments with buy-ins as low as a single penny. Games are available for players in Nevada, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Bill Rini, the director of online poker for WSOP.com, expects the online tables to create new players and generate even greater interest in the sport. “Online poker is a great way for new players to learn the game and existing players to sharpen their skills,” he says. “We’re excited to be offering this to our customers.”

In addition, Rini reveals that players will receive points in the WSOP.com loyalty program, called the Action Club, for every hand played. He notes that these points can be redeemed for cash to buy into future online games, or easily converted into points in Caesars Entertainment’s Total Rewards program to be used for discounted rooms, dining credits or show tickets.

Rini adds that the site will host a number of official tournaments for players to win seats in the WSOP’s $10,000 buy-in Main Event next summer at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. “We can help people get to the Main Event for the price of a movie ticket,” he says. All-in indeed.

Who can play? In order to participate in the games at WSOP.com, the player must be
21 years of age or older and physically located within the state of Nevada.
