Jubilee! dancer Julie Taber shares her hot list.
Best part of being a Las Vegas showgirl is… getting to wear the gorgeous Bob Mackie and Pete Menefee costumes, but also being a part of history. The showgirl is a Las Vegas icon.
The question I get asked most is… does every girl need to be the same height and weight. The answer is no, thank goodness! The showgirl is about celebrating the female form and womanly curves.
Wearing one of the 35-pound headdresses feels like… you are carrying a small child on your head. But please, don’t try this at home.
I take family or friends visiting for the first time… to the world-famous Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign! Most Vegas visitors don’t realize… that just 45 minutes off the Strip we have amazing mountains for hiking and biking.Red Rock Canyon and Mount Charleston are that close.
My favorite lunch spot is… Mon Ami Gabi at Paris Las Vegas. It’s so lovely to sit outside on a nice sunny day and enjoy the atmosphere of the Strip all around you.
My guilty food pleasure is… hands down, dessert at Serendipity 3!
My favorite Las Vegas performer is… Céline Dion. It just doesn’t get much better than her. She’s an outstanding singer and passionate performer.
The top small production show is… Penn and Teller. They are very entertaining in a non-traditional way.
The best place to take a selfie is… in front of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas, which is stunningly lit up at night. It’s also hilarious to confuse your friends by telling them you are going to Vegas, then post a pic of yourself at the Eiffel Tower.
