RuPaul’s Drag Race LIVE! at Flamingo.

Las Vegas just added some sass. Packed with eye-popping fashions and over-the-top performances, RuPaul’s Drag Race LIVE! brings the hit television show to life onstage at Flamingo Las Vegas.

Hosted by Asia O’Hara, the world’s most famous drag queens come together to compete in a series of challenges before they have to lip sync for their life to avoid elimination. While the live show follows the script of television’s Drag Race, the performances are much more intense and extreme. “The costumes. The aerial acts. With people coming down from the ceiling and flying around the room, it’s sensory overload,” explains Derrick Barry, one of the performing queens.

RuPaul, who attended the opening show, had high praise for the stage production. “The show is a smash it. It really is. I think this will be the first time in history a Vegas show goes to Broadway, rather than the other way around.”
