A legend himself, Benjamin “Bugsy” Siegel opened the Flamingo Hotel the day after Christmas in 1946. Though Bugsy was called crazy for building “in the middle of nowhere,” his resort, with its casino floor and a pool oasis, was a hit.
Today guests can dine at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, Carlos ’n Charlie’s or the vintage-inspired Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse. For entertainment, enjoy performances by Piff The Magic Dragon, RuPaul’s Drag Race LIVE! Las Vegas and X Burlesque, as well as Wayne Newton.
