“Vegas, Baby, Vegas!” Actor Vince Vaughn resurrected his famous line from Swingers in announcing he’ll be Master of Ceremonies for the 53rd annual World Series of Poker (WSOP) this summer when the tournament moves to the Las Vegas Strip for the first time, ending its 17-year run at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.

This year’s WSOP will take place at Horseshoe (currently Bally’s) and Paris Las Vegas, May 31-July 19. The Wedding Crashers star, who is no stranger to Las Vegas, made a special appearance at the 2021 WSOP Main Event, kicking off the first day of Final Table action with the announcement. Vaughn has been an avid poker player for much of his life and he may even get into a game or two.

“I have such a strong connection to Las Vegas and am honored to be selected as the Master of Ceremonies for what is set to be the most anticipated World Series of Poker tournament ever,” he said.

“Poker has long been one of my favorite sports, so to be a part of something as historic as the WSOP finally moving to The Strip is an absolute dream.”
